RIDGE is an \u003cstrong\u003eextended Cup S\u003c\/strong\u003e, a form that has been part of the studio's range for some time — now drawn taller, with a defined edge around the body. Same family, new proportions.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe cup narrows below the rim, then opens at the lip. The narrowing gathers aroma in the space above the coffee; the open lip brings it to the nose and sets how the coffee meets the palate. A light pour — around \u003cstrong\u003e100ml\u003c\/strong\u003e — leaves room to swirl and nose the coffee the way you would when tasting, then refill from the server as it cools. The shallow pour cools through a range from first sip to last.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEach piece is hand cast, which creates the \u003cstrong\u003emarbled pattern\u003c\/strong\u003e that runs through the porcelain — no two are identical.
