All MK STUDIO products are designed, cast, glazed, and fired in our own workshop in Denmark. We do not outsource production or manufacture overseas.
This means consistent quality, stable material standards, and full control over working conditions. If production origin matters for your brand, we're happy to discuss this in detail.
We are a team of seven, making 500–1,000 cups a week. The B cup was Mikaela Wallgren's competition cup on her way to runner-up at the 2016 World Brewers Cup, and our flat-bottom MK Dripper was developed together with Elika Liftee of Onyx Coffee Lab.

All products are food-safe and dishwasher safe. Our Declaration of Compliance has been accepted by the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration (Fødevarestyrelsen) during an official control.

MK STUDIO is an EU Authorized Exporter (DK/26/507472). We can provide origin declarations on commercial documents, enabling preferential tariff rates for buyers in countries covered by EU trade agreements.

Production agreement
Buying 1,000 cups or more per year? A two-year production agreement gives you fixed DKK prices for the full term, production priority, and discounts beyond the per-order tiers.
You commit to a yearly volume, firm for both years, and call off batches when you need them. Each batch is in production 90–120 days from call-off.
The agreement replaces per-order discounts and covers cups only: B, C, D, E, F, L, M, A1, A2, A3 and Sensory 150/270 ml. Logo application, shipping, Mix Wave glazes, drippers, servers, plates and bowls are priced separately.

Discounts are off the wholesale list price.
Common questions
Minimum 50 pieces per order, with a minimum of 10 pieces per color or design. There is no maximum. For very large orders (1,000+) we recommend a call to discuss production scheduling.
Yes. Samples are available at cost, and the sample cost is credited against your first order. Email us at orders@mk-ceramics.com or use the quote form. Sample orders ship within 3–5 business days.
Production time is confirmed after order review — it depends on current workload, order size, and customisation. You receive the exact schedule with your order confirmation, before any payment is due.
First orders are paid 100% before production starts. Following orders are 50% on order and 50% before dispatch. Production agreements have their own payment schedule — per batch or yearly upfront.
Yes. We offer CMYK ceramic pigment transfers, high-power fiber laser engraving, and side stamps. Rates: 1.5 DKK/cup for 500+ units, 2.5 DKK for 100–499 units, 5 DKK for under 100 units. Send your artwork (vector preferred) with your order notes.
All pieces are inspected before shipping. In the event of transit breakage, we ask for photographic evidence within 5 days of delivery. Confirmed transit damage is replaced at no cost. Minor glaze variation is inherent to handmade production and is not considered a defect.
