MK Dripper V2 – flat bed. In 2021 Elika Liftee of Onyx Coffee Lab asked us for a brewer he could use in competition. We made it, he proposed changes, we made them. He used it to win his second U.S. Brewers Cup and finish runner-up at the 2022 World Brewers Cup. This is V2 that has build in extra filter support star

Colours: mixed

  • Flat bed spreads water evenly across the coffee bed
  • Five-hole base regulates flow and lets you grind finer without stalling
  • Star-shaped filter support keeps the filter off the base, so all five holes stay open
  • Thick walls hold heat
  • Fits Kalita Wave 185 and 155, Sibarist FAST and most flat-bed filters; fits most servers

Outlet piece

This piece has a minor imperfection that keeps it from our first-quality standard. It does not affect how it works. Critically damaged pieces never leave the studio.

You may find:

  • Slight oval shape at the rim or body
  • Minor scratches in the glaze
  • Pinholing – small pores in the glaze surface
  • Colour variation, thin spots or crawling in the glaze
  • Small hairline cracks in non-functional areas – they do not grow and do not affect use
  • Slight variation in shape

Outlet items are sold as is.

Size guide

Each piece is unique

We are making Hand-made dinnerware. Each piece is unique with a distinct appearance. Small drips and holes on a surface are not considered as defects. Matt glaze makes each item unique. Scratches and marks will occur and they are not considered as defects. Color may vary depending on firing temperature and glaze composition.

Food safety

All our ceramics are made with food grade materials, all our suppliers have all necessary EU certificates that indicates that.

Cleaning and care

Unglazed porcelain surfaces, are sometimes susceptible to light stains, unlike glazed porcelain. Frequent washing can help remove and prevent staining. All our products can be placed in the dishwasher for daily washing and care. You can also place the item in a bowl of warm water with a detergent tab. Very stubborn stains and spots can sometimes be removed with diluted chlorine and lime remover.

Dark lines in the glaze (usually caused by silverware) can be removed by scrubbing with a sponge with dish soap and baking soda. Grease stains on matte glaze can be removed with baking soda and water.

If greasy fingerprints appear, rub the exposed porcelain with food safe oils, let sit, then clean with soap and water.

It is very important (and we highly suggest) that you let boiling water settle
(stop rolling/bubbling) before pouring it into a tableware item - especially a hand made piece. If the item is very cold to the touch, we also suggest pre-heating it with hot tap water. Pouring boiling water directly into a cool handmade cup, bowl or mug
may cause the item / glaze to crack.
